“We had a wonderful time at the Lake of the Woods. It was a very relaxing place. What I liked mostly is the private lake because it was just steps away and we did not have to have a licence. We enjoyed fishing with my husband. The older stove/oven/refrigerator/ pantry was super charming. I also liked that although it was in the woods and felt far away from the city, Showlow was jist 10 mins away if we forgot something or wanted to have a nicer ait down dinner at a restaurant. ”

“This property was AMAZING! So beautiful and quaint, peaceful. The community is so interesting and fun. The only problem I had was being able to get ahold of the owners. They didn’t answer their phone or emails. It was impossible to get a dialog going. Thankfully the problem resolved itself. Otherwise I would like to reserve this place again in the future. ”

“I had called Red Awning and left an extensive complaint. The wand to open and close the blinds was missing. My husband had to use his hands to do that. There were no tissues anywhere in the cabin. There were no directions anywhere for the ceiling fan. We finally figured out there was a remote left on one of the night tables for it. Also, there were no directions on how to use the two remotes for the television. We did figure it out. There were no instructions on how to use the fireplace. The...

“So intimate, so quiet, so romantic. Loved it here. Great place to pause from this fast paced life and rejuvenate. Only bed isn't solid and makes an annoying sound when you turn in it. Otherwise, very lovely environment, clean place, great communication, close to Sedona city and sliderock”

“We had a wonderful stay at lazy oaks. What a gorgeous property! Very spacious and well kept, right on the lake. There is a community area with grills, fire pit, horseshoes and picnic benches. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in blue spruce, which has a fireplace and a fenced backyard /dog run. Our cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. ”
