“We have visited and stayed at the Jamaica Inn a number of times over the years but unfortunately this time we were left a bit disappointed. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a first rate bathroom. We had a very enjoyable dinner, some lovely wine and a splendid breakfast. “Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

“We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. “Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history”
