โWe always stay at the Cheshire on our cross-country road trips. It's perfect for families and it's pet friendly. We like that it's clean, has character ( the rooms are named after different authors), and has good food options. The breakfast is healthy with fresh fruit options. But most of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I left clothing behind on one of our trips recently and they went out of their way to look for it and mail it to me! โThe valet and front desk staff were great! Everyone was friendly and helpful, really created a welcoming environment. The overnight parking is a little pricey, but they took good care of our car and offered a speedy retrieval when needed. Parking in the area is limited, and while there is some street parking, wasnโt sure it was secure enough for an overnight. The hotel amenities were wonderful. โThere wasn't any food available on site. Beds are comfortable, linens are clean. The housekeeping staff doesn't offer service you must request it, but their service hours weren't compatible with our schedule. The hotel is dated and in need of repairs and possibly renovation. The shower handle was not attached to the shower wall and was difficult to turn on and sometimes wouldn't turn off. ALL ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors were inoperative or missing.
