"It was a pleasant experience. I happened to be staying there when hurricane Sally hit. My room stayed fine. However, the lobby was damaged by the winds and rain, lost power and water. The staff and manager on hand were excellent. They didn’t act frazzled or anxious. They took care of matters and us guests. I really enjoyed the history of the hotel, too. "

"This little hoyel is so cute! Its close to everything, and literally right next door to the Fountain of Youth. The bed was comfy and the rooms were simple but nice, the bathroom was lovely too. Overall my experience was excellent. Room attendees are nice and check in on you to make sure you have everything you need. My ONLY gripe would be the shower head. The water pressure coming from it was so intense it actually kinda hurt lol! It couldnt be adjusted either so couldnt take a really long...
