The Fives Beach Hotel - Á la Carte All Inclusive

"Extended family of 16 (6 adults, 10 kids) chose Fives Beach Hotel to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our parents. Wonderful experience all around. Extremely family-friendly resort. Well kept, wonderful staff. Repeat - staff everywhere were wonderful. Friendliest resort we've visited. Loads of families and kids. Food was 5-star - way better than expected for an all-inclusive. Seriously - food is good. Drinks were top-shelf, too, when requested. Bombay Sapphire, Don Julio, Johnnie Walker/Dewars, Glenlivet; house wine was lovely as well... and all part of the all-inclusive plan. Facilities were first rate, location was nice... beach was the weak link - not great - lots of seagrass in August and dock in pics is a paid extra. Beach is not too large and a bit rocky. Likely better other times of the year. Due to the seagrass, we were unable to swim/snorkel in the ocean as much as we hoped, but the resort was so great that nobody complained. Everyone had a wonderful time, from our 5-year-old to our 74-year-old. Great rooms, great amenities, loads of activities, best staff & food I've had at an all-inclusive resort, by far. Would be happy to return. Would consider another month when seagrass is not at its peak (august)."

"This is our favorite place. Its not a party place. Its is not a place to be entertained. Its not a place to hang out with people, unless you want to. This is my quiet place. I can be with my partner and enjoy each other's company. Its our finding the zin. Loved our cenote room. Loved seeing all the wildlife. Loved eating at a leisurely pace with great food. The staff are fantastic. We did a ceviche and sushi class. Loved them both. We will be back again."

"Five-Star Family Vacation Experience! Our family had the most amazing stay at this resort! The rooms were absolutely spotless, and the layout was perfect for traveling with kids. What We Loved: The Water Park & Pool: The kids' water park is incredible and kept them entertained for hours. The swim-up bar was a major highlight for the adults! The Food: The buffet offered excellent food with plenty of variety. Most of the reservation-only restaurants served outstanding meals (though we found the French restaurant to be just okay compared to how amazing the others were).The Entertainment: The nightly live shows and music were spectacular. They put on high-quality entertainment every single night that our whole family loved. Special Thanks to the Incredible Staff: The warm welcome we received from the staff truly made our trip unforgettable. We want to give a special shout-out to: Kids Club: Betty, Ale, Adri, Ruben, and Kinyi (the DJ)—thank you for keeping the kids so happy and engaged! "Absolutely gorgeous property, one of the most unique stays I have ever experienced. Every room you get your own huge villa with spacious bathrooms, living spaces, and a private pool. You also have multiple pools on property on top of it. The staff is amazing, they treat you like VIP's and it's so amazing to be able to access the full property by boat, bike, golf cart, or good ole fashion walking. My only qualm about the property was that they don't have all restaurant options open so you're limited in choices also the pricing is pretty high. I don't think I spent less than $100 for every meal, but the food quality is top level and their bar has some of the most interesting drink combo's I've experienced. I would highly recommended everyone to stay on this property I cannot wait to come back and also very family friendly!"

"Outstanding food, friendly staff, well maintained and a beautiful location. Only minus is that the property's beach doesn't have that crystal clear blue water due to the seaweed. But you can leave on snorkeling outings or rent jet skis. The multiple pools and restaurants were so nice that it didn't matter. We would go back again. Traveled with a 4 year old and 15 month old. And they had a great time."
