โThe hotel is in a very good location in central Telluride. Our room is very nice and clean. The best part is that I developed severe back pain and the night manager helped me with his own heat pad. When that didnโt help, he called an ambulance to take me to the emergency facility. When I was better and back in the room, the hotel let us extend our stay 1 more night. We would definitely recommend the hotel. โ
โThis place definitely exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean, beds were super comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. Right next to the grocery and short walk to restaurants /shops. A couple of caveats: (1) the upstairs is not accessible for wheelchair users (and likely difficult for people with mobility impairments in general); (2) there are no staff on site as far as I could tell. All that said, I would definitely stay here again. โ

โI was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. โWe were able to drop our bags for a morning arrival. Then housekeeping finished our room early, and they contacted us that we could get into our room early. โ
โThe property was in a gorgeous area right next to a short trail that followed the river. It was a very short walk into town, where there were a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.โ
โThe property check in was easy, staff was fantastic, and the hot springs and bar options on site was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed to be charged for pool towels and robe use, especially given the higher than avg. cost of the rooms. Additionally, the room could use some updates and smaller furniture, I.e., extra chairs and table were too large for the space. The TV didn't work, and the bathroom door didn't fully close. Despite these non-essential flaws we would still return!!!โ
