“Decor was fab in the main reception and sitting areas. Breakfast was not exciting and not an extensive choice. Staff were nice enough. Room had one single and one double which was not ideal for 2 having to argue over the big bed! Couldn’t see the plug near to kettle so had to move it elsewhere where there was little room. No water or treats in room. Shower was good and shower gel nice enough. Would stay again but not worth the hiked price. Good location.”

“What an amazing place. Very quaint building. Was made to feel like we were at home the moment we walked in. Steve is an amazing manager and made us smile and laugh as soon as we walked in. The breakfast in the morning is small but perfect for the setting. The return guests we met are all wonderful and see why they keep coming back ”

“Driftwood provides the home from home feeling and is situated in a perfect setting . You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. The owners of Driftwood could not do enough to make you feel welcome and were on hand to any questions. Massive thank you to Jo. Exceptional value and highly recommended. ”

“very unorganized at check in. did not have available the room that was originally booked. gave us grief at check out for having a 3rd person, although room was booked as a quad family room from the start and notified them at check in, while we were standing at desk that we had 3 adults not 2. requested room to be cleaned on day 2 and no one came to clean. budget hotel, with unknowledgable staff, different rules daily with different staff. wouldn't stay again. ”
