"Although appreciative of the waived resort fee and, apparently, upgraded suite we were very disappointed that the ocean view suite we booked was not available at check-in (not cheap and a long flight for this disappointment). It was my first resort stay and was OK, but evening/night lighting and uneven surfaces not great for persons with visual or mobility challenges."

"do NOT stay here if safety is a priority to you. firstly, the doors to the rooms do not have padlocks or deadbolts, they have the swing across latch and the automatic key card lock. terrible, as the latches are already pulled off the wall and barely screwed in. dirty place, ants on the floor, all over windows. bed was comfy and fine. the staff were helpful when needed, however, i thought it was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate to announce that i was staying alone and yelled my room number out loud in which the entire lobby heard. i do not think this was fair to someone travelling alone and should never have happened. i switched rooms because of the deadbolt not working, hoping the next would have one, but no. they do not have proper locks."

"In Waikīkī you get what you pay for… location of the hotel is great, but the hotel is quite tired, they list that there’s a gym but it’s more like a very small cardio room, the breakfast will definitely leave you wanting a lot more, and if you call down for anything they tell you to come get it yourself. My biggest issue was that parking at the hotel is $46 a day plus the resort fee; which was about $600/700 for almost a week… I wasn’t prepared for that. you’re better off staying at a nicer hotel that eats those costs ;) You’re welcome!"

"Ocean view was minimal, pool we did not use it was very small, breakfast was okay, borrowing towels, chairs and boogie boards were the best part."
