"Absoulety gorgeous hotel, food, service was incredible and staff were so welcoming warm and professional. Other than the spa lady this morning around half 10 I wasn’t sure of her name, however myself and my husband were having a swim before we checked out at 11 and the spa was empty and we were laughing and told to keep the noise down in quite a rude manner. I found it inappropriate as no one else was using the facilities and pool or spa at the time and we were the only ones there I appreciate keeping the noise to a minimal level for others to relax and we were very curtious and conscious of this. It was rather patronising and rose to end the experience. However the spa lady prior the day before and in the morning up until 10.30 was very warm and welcoming offering beverages and going above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory stay! Thanks so much we’ll be coming again"

"The rooms at the Howfield were exactly as described in the photos. very comfortable bed, good hot shower with good flow and very clean. the housekeeping staff were polite, cheerful and helpful. communication and check in was completed efficiently via text messages with quick responses ( we asked for an early check in and the room was ready for us ) I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again "

"Stayed here during a busy concert weekend. The owner and staff working were welcoming and friendly. There is a bar on site, which is handy as there is not really much else in the immediate area except a small convenience store. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a distance from the city center but the train station is a 5 minute walk. Given it's further away I feel it provides a more inviting and local experience."

"Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. "
