“Usual YHA setup but in interesting and peaceful location on a private courtyard, nice and quiet even in the heart of Berwick. Breakfast made to order and very good, includes coffee or you can have one made on an espresso machine for an up charge. Private rooms available with en-suite was a good balance of value for money and privacy”

“clean enough, although the building is somewhat old, the canteen area is decent, very diverse people, fun and loud people, perfect to have a getaway and meet strangers and learn new castle life. ”

“The staff were great. I slept well despite the rattling window and the waterproof mattress. Everything was really clean except the area around the door handles, and the windowsills. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the corridor lights dimmed at night - I was the last one to go to bed in my dorm and the room flooded with light as I opened the door 😬”
