The more casual menu had steak and ale pie which was exceptional and a generous portion size. The hotel is conveniently located to visit Hadrian's Wall and the Roman History Museum. “The location was excellent. Morpeth is a beautiful town and everything is within easy walking distance of the Premier Lodge. My only criticism is that the Lodge is a red brick building and looks nothing like the photo. Nothing wrong with it though.”
