"I was disappointed to see the lack of true New Mexico hospitality in what is supposed to be a heritage hotel. My husband was confused when he was charged an extra fee on check in. He asked what it was for. The desk clerk told him he was paying that fee because he had elected to stay at that hotel. Needless to say, that answer did not satisfy, nor did it show basic respect for a sincere question. A fee should not ever be charged without a polite, concrete explanation for what it is for.
