This was the perfect spot for our anniversary! The location was perfect and close to the beach and 5th Ave! The front desk at the hotel was so helpful and and accommodating!! Highly recommended!!!

Amazing, friendly, always smiling staff and a charming property in the centre of town but with a peaceful, shaded, plant-filled garden and three pools. Room was well furnished if a little rough around the edges in finish, but given the price this is not a complaint at all (it did however have A/C and a fridge). The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. A lovely relaxing stay and far better than being on 5th Avenue

I had a wonderful day. The location was amazing. Everything went walking distance through were very clean and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. around this time it would help if there was a working spa to be able to enjoy the beautiful rooftop.

The staff was courteous and generally helpful. The room was fairly clean - bath, shower and floors. The bedside lamps were dusty inside the shades - the bulbs included. We were not thrilled with the excursion service “Easy travel”. Our outing to Chichén Itza was not at all easy so don’t use them!

All of the staff are fantastic, very calm, friendly and professional. They have a great balance of being at your service when needed as well as giving you space to enjoy and explore on your own. While the space was smaller and older than expected from the photos, it was clean, quaint and a great venue to relax and recharge in. The excellence of the hosting staff/concierges and cleaning women cannot be stressed enough, great folks who do their jobs well. The location is also a huge advantage. You're in walking distance from everything you could possibly need, including the lovely beaches of the Caribbean Sea. All that to say, I'll definitely be coming back to both Playa del Carmen and La Pasion.

The room needs to be upgraded, it has an old broken mirror in the bathroom and the door makes a horrible noise when it gets closed. The staff was courteous and helpful. It would be great if every room had a phone to communicate with the staff and a coffee maker. Room was clean.
