"Our stay here was fine. The location is excellent, the house is nicely decorated, and the breakfast was solid - scrambled eggs, grits, sausage and a fruit dish every morning. I had been hoping for a helpful host who could guide us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, but there was not a host on site. The bed was also quite soft and sagged in the middle."

"Atmosphere was as expected. Parking was close. Planned trip for a year and all appeared great until we settled into the room and found that there was no hot water, only a single small role of toilet paper and limited to a single cup of coffee each. We gave the list to the registration desk and they stated it would all be taken care of. Following day; SAME PROBLEMS. Nothing had been addressed. We ended up finding a Walmart and purchased toilet paper, coffee and creamers. The historic experience was great but to have it overshadowed by such avoidable issues is a disgrace. Upon checkout I received an apologue and was told I would receive a $150 credit. It's now been 6 days and NO credit has been posted to my account! If we ever return, we will stay off premises where there is more appreciation for our business. "
