"The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and overall we had a pleasant stay. However, there were a few issues that kept it from being a 5-star experience for us.
The bathroom was quite small, which wasn’t a major problem but was noticeable. The biggest issue occurred during our honeymoon stay. On our second night, a large wedding reception was being held on the same floor, directly next to our room. By 10:30 PM, the music was so loud that our bed was literally shaking from the bass.
We called the front desk and were told they would ask the event to lower the volume. When the noise continued 30 minutes later, we called again. While the staff said they would address it, the response felt somewhat indifferent. There were also guests from the wedding yelling in the hallway, and we were told security would check on the situation.
My main concern is not that the hotel hosted a wedding, but rather the room placement. With an event of that size taking place, it seems the hotel could have assigned nearby rooms to wedding attendees rather than guests seeking a quiet stay.
Aside from that experience, the hotel itself was very nice, the property was beautiful, and we enjoyed our visit overall."
