"Pros: The resort overall was beautiful and the room was great - very comfortable, updated and clean. We really enjoyed the swim up room. The beach was beautiful and spacious though we weren’t able to snorkel because the water was either red (sargassum) or murky due to the wind. The food was decent and there were so many choices, though everyday the menu was exactly the same. The pools were great - colonial was busier than white sands so if you wanted chairs at colonial you needed to get them by 8am or so. I loved how spacious the resort was, and enjoyed having to walk to get around. Cons: my son got gastroenteritis and was aggressively vomiting so I had to call the in-house physician. The rest of us had typical GI discomfort that was manageable. The music room equipment (guitars, piano, drums) in the Junior Club was all broken, which was a shame - if it can’t be maintained, there’s no point in having it. Don’t even think about relying on the golf carts if you need to be somewhere on time - even though I requested one well in advance at check out, it never came, so we had to drag our bags across the resort to make it to our airport transfer on time. Overall, it was a nice resort, but we won’t be returning. "

"Occidental Xcaret is an absolutely stunning resort! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully the property is woven into the surrounding jungle, it truly feels like you’re stepping into another world. Monkeys visited our balcony every day and it was AMAZING! 😍 The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, always warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We had such an incredible vacation and are already dreaming about coming back. This place is pure magic! We will definitely be returning! "

"Fantastic week at Dreams. Rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked. Rooms service was quick and staff were so kind and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the non stop fun and activities from sun up to sun down. The activities team was so much fun! À la carte breakfast lunch and dinner without the need for reservations was a huge bonus! Will definitely go back again. "

The food is awesome, and the rooms and physical facility are well serviced/maintained. It has one of the nicest beaches in Mexico. If you really want to relax and eliminate all sources of stress, go to the Catalonia Royal Tulum."

"Not much activities"

"Everything was nice. Arrived at night around 9pm. They welcomed us home, and gathered the is the luggage. Off we went on resort cart. Beautiful lit pathway, line with palm trees. Welcome, sash on the door. checked in with preferred club members and the festivities began. Served premium drinks. The next 3 days were wonderful, the all inclusive package was definitely a deal. Food was pretty good.Room was very nice. Dual balconies, by the pool, an our ocean view. Staff was very nice. Rooms were kept very clean. We recommend the excursion package to the cenotos and snorkeling "
