"Let’s start with the hotel itself, it is stunning, tucked away but also walking distance from pretty much everything, the main lobby is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and easy to get to. The room - It was one of the courtyard rooms, it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and the bed was wonderful, the courtyard is accessible from the room itself through some French doors and very private, it has a good sized TV and the bathroom was wonderful, they give you good quality loo paper (Yes, that’s more important than you think.) Tea and coffee with a coffee machine and the room even had a radio. All in all, 10/10. The Bar – It is a small personal bar, but there are lounges to relax so plenty of space even though it feels personal, a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from and expertly put together and severed by staff that know what they are doing, we will talk about them soon. The Restaurant – We had breakfast and 1 evening meal here, and the food was amazing, good quality and cooked to perfection, and excellent range to choose from, good portion sizes and served quickly without being rushed. "The room was really nicely done and I appreciated the little extra touches like biscuits, hot chocolate sachets, and nice bramley toiletries. It was a bit dated in places (eg bathroom door chipped at the bottom, a couple of moths, and noise from other rooms using their water and walking upstairs). The staff were very friendly and attentive, making for a nice check in and check out experience. The pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi were so lovely. It was a peaceful area that felt modern and clean. It was a little small so felt busy at times (eg waiting to use the jacuzzi) but was really great to have at this hotel. The rain shower in the bathroom was also really lovely. Breakfast was great with a really nice selection all round and full size pastries and pancake machine a real bonus! "

"About the clean room some spiderwebs Not big deal, the rest all cleaned. About the Staff everyone 5 🌟 It's a fresh breakfast, but insufficient food for the price to pay. About the parking all good have plenty space. "

"It was like faulty towers and everyone else said so too so wasn’t just me. Whatever cd go wrong did all the time. I’m exhausted and need a holiday to get over such a nightmare. My mother left a day early. I wd hv done too but was visiting my son."

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and although the bathroom seemed a little worn it was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The rooms we had were an upgrade from the ones we booked, I think. The hotel was situated in a lovely area, with walking available along the river and the canal, and a couple of villages close by, containing decent pubs and restaurants. I would stay there again."

"Internet connectivity was poor. However when infofmed to the staff. At once our room wS changed for better connectivitu. Also extended 30mins checkout time. Overall, helpfull and friendly staff. "
