“The Bushel is a friendly well run pub right in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds. It has the advantage of Car Parking for guests. Breakfast and Dinner were both good value and tasty. The staff are helpful and efficient. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. This had all we needed including a good size bed, shower, tea and coffee, Tv etc. We would certainly stay here again when we are next in the area.”

“The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again.”

“The classic room we booked was very tired and dated. The walls, especially around switchesX were marked, worn and grubby. The bathroom was especially bad, dusty, mouldy and generally needs a refurb - I felt dirty using it! The decoration, fixtures and fittings were extremely dated. The carpets were marked and stained.
