“Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “Rooms were comfortable. Bathroom well thought out. Nice sized basin, good sized shower with somewhere to put your toiletries. All staff very friendly and helpful. Hallways were very clean well vacuumed. Good amount of parking which was free always good. Only one thing I didn't like was the pillows, too small and not that comfy every thing else was brilliant would stay again good value for money it was cheaper than the premier Inn further down the road and a nicer hotel. ”

“A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again
