Woodingdean. Taken from the bridlepath to the east of the built up area looking west. The backs of the houses of Sherrington Road are top right, Bexhill Drive to the left. The rest of Woodingdean can be seen in the dip in the downs. In the distant haze the shape of St Dunstans can be made out.

Mount Pleasant, Woodingdean. Looking south with the bridleway in the foreground. If you look closely to the left of the two bushes and the dark fencepost, the grey outline of the trig point on the summit can just about be made out.

Happy Valley, Woodingdean. Looking east from the bridlepath that follows the ridge of the downs. The road junction that can be seen is that of Falmer Road (B2133) and Briarcroft Road. The square ends just beyond the end of Briarcroft Road.

Good location opposite train stain and train station parking. Parking opposite doesn’t have anything to do with the hotel but hotel helps in a small way via QR CODE to organise payment. Lovely spa hotel with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the spa facilities were excellent—especially the pool and sauna. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place to unwind—I’d definitely visit again. Great sea front view.
