“Enjoyed the experience of staying in a caboose! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating for my wife’s food sensitivities. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The caboose was rather moldy and musty, but by opening up all the windows we were able to air it out sufficiently. When using the jetted tub - a nice feature! - we ran out of hot water before it could completely fill. It did recover enough to shower off rather quickly.”

“Nice place to stay just minutes from Mount Rainier. Over the duration of a 4 night stay, the only issue I had is that is was unseasonably warm (hit the 80s in early May!), and the rooms can get stuffy if there is no breeze. The property is a bit dated, but that is part of the charm. The included breakfast has enough options, and the smores kits were an added plus. ”

“Proprietor was vey friendly and helpful. The Manor was beautiful and really inspired wonder. I loved the history and ambience of the place. Rooms felt very private and quiet. Breakfast was very good. We have a special needs child and the staff were very happy to accomodate our needs. Patking was a bit tight, but the proprietor helped us figure it out. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay! ”

“Stayed one night in old historic post office building. It was well appointed and worth the cost. Heat is good as well as water pressure and temperature in shower. Communication from staff/owner was great and very responsive and helpful.”

“The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom...

“Enjoyed our weekend at the Mansion. The Presidential suite was lovely, as was the view. Sunrise on the lake was amazing. Also appreciated the sturdy bed frame which was great for Shibari. The only improvements I would offer is to have coffee in the private suite and less air freshener throughout. ”
