โVery unique property. It's a big onsite property like a campus - and they have carved out a hotel area. Very new, well kept buildings and grounds. The location is actually on a long hiking trail with beautiful views. The room wasn't huge but very clean and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful. It's a great alternative to the chain hotels in Elmsford - a whole different vibe. Has the Hudson Valley character. โ
โClose enough to downtown Stamford , parking was easy . I have a student attending UConn so it was close enough to everything that we needed. Will be staying again and Pet friendly is huge so when I come to visit my daughter can see her dog! This was our second stay here and now that the pool is open we can take a dip! โ
โMy stay was great at Stamford Marriott. We had a leak in our first room that required us to move. To compensate they put us in a junior suite. As well, they gave us gift cards for the Starbucks in the lobby. No matter what staff it was they were friendly, professional and helpful. Anton and his staff in the restaurant for breakfast each morning were exceptional. โ
โThis hotel offers amazing value!! I left a hotel in the area which cost $200 more per night and I honestly liked this hotel more. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, great room (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, 2 queens beds, etc), indoor swimming pool, free parking, free breakfast and literally right next door to Stamford Diner! Property is doing some upgrades but still well worth the price, will stay here every time. โ
โCheck in staff was great. Their little snack store had everything from potato chips to frozen dinners which was much appreciated. The room was modern and clean and well appointed. But the thing that really said apart, oddly enough was the breakfast. Top quality, food, drinks, coffee. I just had a toasted bagel with cream cheese, but it was real Philadelphia cream cheese and there was lots of it and the bagel was very good. All the other food looked good as well. I actually looked for a Holiday...
โAlways a nice experience at Hotel Zero. Clean, friendly, large rooms, great patio, and an excellent in-house restaurant (Terra). A wish list request would be better fruit at breakfast.โ
