“This hotel has a very interesting historical background with all the comforts one expects at a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and receptive to any requests. The room we stayed in was clean, well taken care of by housekeeping and had updated and modern bathroom and lighting/appliances. very nice and comfortable common areas, clean looking pool. excellent included breakfast, continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast made to order. Friendly kitchen staff as well. Also the food at the bar...

“The hotel was perfectly acceptable, although the bathrooms could do with a little updating. The hotel is a little remote for access to major sights, but as the island is small and the bus service is so reliable and cheap, this was easily remedied. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food and overall service were exceptional. We would definitely stay again. ”

Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better.”
