“A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. ”

“Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. ”

Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. “The hosts were so kind and the bnb was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious. They had a fan available which was needed for how hot it has been. Breakfast was delicious and more than generous portions with a variety of options. Walkable to bars, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again. ”

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. ”
