“All good. The room had a bathroom with assistive equipment. Not asked for. Difficult to use. Basin had no cold water to run a toothbrush under. Toilet was lower than normal. A very odd experience”

“Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. ”

“Outstanding Hotel and amenities door men and breakfast staff can't do enough for you. The reception team are not quite as good! However, we had an amazing stay.”

“Plenty of parking and easy to validate. Staff were friendly and easy check in and out although staff appearance was somewhat dishevelled. Shower would not regulate it's temperature and was either freezing cold or boiling hot. It was clean although not immaculate with bathroom fixtures wearing and loose bedroom socket. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. ”

“Friendly staff and lovely ‘character’ hotel room. Next time we’ll try the spa which looked lovely too.”

“Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful. The pool and spa area was excellent. The gardens are lovely. The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! ”

“The venue was significantly understaffed - we had to wait a very long time for our bar meal as one person was having to serve behind the bar ( long queue) and serve tables - same at breakfast where we had to wait so long for the hot food to be replenished that other staff thought that we had left and cleared our table 👎”
