“The Municipal is a lovely hotel, communal areas are fabulous, it is in a great location and was immaculate. We booked it for my birthday due to it being the only 5 star hotel in Liverpool and thought we would give it a try, we normally stay in the Titanic hotel, however I’m not really sure why it is classed as a 5 star hotel. “Restaurant service was pathetic. It wasn’t busy yet we waited over an hour for our food and then some of our order was wrong. Bad air conditioning and it was extremely hot weather so it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in the room. Great rooms other wise. Great pool facilities.”
