"Nice rooms and friendly staff but be careful at the laguna restaurant which they will charge 20% tip without your permission where it is not obvious. The price of the buffet increased so it's not affordable anymore and enjoyable best to go out. I would definitely stay but not eat there . "

"This is a huge hotel. There was no direction in regards of where anything was. Staff pretty much didn’t care. Had to pay $34 day for parking. The music is extreme and loud at the pool area. The lights at the pool were never shut off and illuminated my room every night. If you want just a bed, pick a different hotel. "

I arrived around midnight for a short overnight stay with my young son, expecting a smooth check-in process and a clean, comfortable environment. Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly below expectations. Upon arrival, I encountered issues with the front desk regarding the security deposit. I was informed that the deposit would be $75; however, my card was initially charged $50, and I was told the transaction declined. Immediately after, I was charged again, resulting in a total of $100 being held on my account. When I brought this discrepancy to the front desk agent’s attention, my concern was dismissed, and I was simply told that it was a “hold” rather than a charge. While I understand how incidental holds work, the inconsistency in the amount and the lack of clear communication were both unprofessional and frustrating. Additionally, I scanned the parking QR code as instructed and attempted to confirm next steps with the front desk. Despite showing the code and asking for guidance, I was not given any explanation or assistance on how to proceed, which left me uncertain about parking compliance.
