“Very friendly people”

“A lovely room in a very cosy, friendly pub. There was some road noise due to the location, but this dies down after dark. The facilities and food were excellent.”

“Especially one of the menu for breakfast, porridge is the best. ”

“Our room decor was very tired and tatty, the shower was no more than warm, the plug in the sink was broken and the shower had no hand held wand so you had to get wet all over. The bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok.”

“Hilary and Mark, mother and son were both very pleasant and helpful. Some good suggestions about different places to visit in the area.”

“We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury.”

“Unique room in a converted 1885 wagon was fun! But pretty rustic, don't expect big luxury. No toiletries (soap) were provided, but there were towels. The pub has good pizza!”

“Glad I chose this hotel and it's shuttle to visit Stonehenge.”

“the room was very comfortable had everything you could ever need. Jan and mark welcomed us into their home for breakfast every day very patient as we were late risers. They went way beyond normal hospitality drove us to the beginning of the water meadow walk in Salisbury and wrote out the. route for a drive through the new forest. We were staying for 5 nights wished it was longer as we were made to feel at home immediately on arrival. If only all holiday owners were like them. There was a bus...
