"We had a very enjoyable stay at Lincoln Plaza. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Canary Wharf with its shops, bars, restaurants and the river, while the DLR is only around five minutes away. The pool and gym were excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with plenty of choice. Every member of staff we encountered was welcoming and professional, with the exception of our checkout experience. We were left confused by several card transactions, and the explanation at reception was unclear and felt rather abrupt. To the hotel’s credit, the Front Office Manager responded promptly, fully explained the charges and resolved the matter with a goodwill gesture. My only advice would be to check your card transactions carefully and ask for an itemised bill at checkout. Overall, I would happily stay here again."
