"Great property close to the train station that is connected to the ExCel center (trains, not the hotel). The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and the staff goes above and beyond!
My room was large with a huge window seat where I could relax, get work done or just read a book while enjoying the view. The king sized bed was large and comfortable with high end sheets and pillows. The bathroom was huge and had a shower, separate tub, and great lighting. There were robes slippers and nice toiletries. Evening ice delivered to the rooms was a nice touch.
The restaurant was excellent, not a huge menu but I think it is better to have few excellent dishes rather than a lot of mediocre ones. Try the salted caramel ice cream for dessert. Sounds simple but was so good I ended ep getting it for room service each night.
The hotel is sophisticated, elegant, and situated with views of the river. Incredible views of the river really. Would be a great hotel for corporate meetings. I felt pampered and would absolutely stay here again if going to the Excel center or anywhere nearby."
