"Staff were so attentive, helpful, responsive and kind! Lovely stay, well worth it! If you’re hoping for a quiet stay, this isn’t it. Although they do supply ear plugs that helped tremendously. If you’re looking for fun and great people watching, this is the place for you!"

"Great location. Easy to walk to the convention center and very close to a bunch of great restaurants in Little Italy. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful with any questions and were very nice and super friendly. The entire place was clean and had a good vibe overall. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone!"

"This was our first time staying here trying something new. We normally stay in Del Mar. The property was very clean from what we saw inside and out. Our room has a beautiful patio and view and very spacious room. It was clean, nice location and we had a downstairs room. Their was a nice young guy in the day at the desk assist us and an older black lady who checked us out the next day at 4am she was were very kind and friendly. We didn't use amenities or bar. The main staff member that checked us in was dismissive and rude. We checked in with him and paid for a purchase from the mini Mart both times, friendly enough to handle our purchase and get us out of his face. Not the welcome we get normally in the area. So I won't pick this hotel again unfortunately because of this employee. There are enough hotels in this area with really good staff especially at their rate and at check in that it doesn't make sense to pick a place that has rude staff period. No EV charging was rough and we had to pay to park in their parking lot, that's a definite no from me. We spent 80.00 to use a Uber black to get around not going to pay for parking too. It was nice to try something new but not worth the parking fee and dismissive check in. "

"Rooms are a little dated but okay, the balcony is nice. The parking is ridiculously priced $50 a day. The hotel is three buildings so there are a lot of people around. Water bottle refill machine in our building didn’t work."

"Great location across from the convention center/Petco Field/Gaslamp, nice shower set up with a rain shower. The rooms are in desperate need of an update with the furniture scratched and falling apart, holes in the carpet, the carpet so stretched/warped I couldn’t roll my suitcase over it. The tv’s are basically useless with a couple channels and no ability to stream or connect - the panel you see is either not connected or broken or maybe if you had a hdmi something would work. Staffing is so limited they had very little open in stark contrast to the resort fee - the bar opens at 4. There was nothing available before then. There is a lovely pool and bar… but the bar was never open. I left at 5:45 am and there wasn’t even anyone at the front desk. There was a kiosk to drop your key. So odd for a hotel of this size. The Holiday Inn in the middle of no where has more staffing and amenities. For three of the four days of my stay the 6th floor button was gone in one of the two elevators… it was annoying to figure that out. "

"Enjoyed the relaxing stay and the local neighborhood to walkable stores. We didn’t have to drive anywhere. Gated court yard that felt safe and the room had a kitchen which felt like a home."
