“The room itself is lovely nice an roomy beds are comfortable and you're able to cook if needed, the huge plus with this room is the owner Ryoji he bent over backwards to help us, honestly couldn't be happier and would recommend this to anyone. unfortunately we got sick at our stay here Ryoji took us to the chemist two times an made sure we got the correct medication. ”

“15-min walk to the main terminal for buses to ski slopes. Accommodation was a bit dated. Comfortable but nothing special. The toilet smelled bad no matter how many times we cleaned it. There was sufficient space for 3 large adults; would have been tight for 4 and too cramped for 5. Friendly staff who were more than happy to transfer us to/from the station and willing to help and provide information. Overall average accommodation.”

“One of a kind place where I would like to visit every season to experience how Hoshinoya changes per season. Recommend to book a dinner 2days prior to visit, since there very few options for dinner place. ”

“This place was incredible! We loved our stay so much that we are going to visit again at a time we can stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the slopes were right at the doorstep with a ski school for kids and sledding too. Transportation was available to take us to dinner at other places. The restaurant on site was exceptional, the breakfast was so good each day and then we had dinner with live music and had the most wonderful night. Highly recommend!”
