"This property was beautiful and very clean. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. It is a bit out the way from main areas of Hakuba. However, the hotel does have a shuttle bus, only on a limited schedule though. "
"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"
"This hotel is amazing on all counts, legendary breakfast beyond wildest dreams and expectations, a cornucopia of delights. I will return and recommend to anyone and especially my friends and family"

The ski resort is very dated and there has been limited investment into infrastructure and related tourist amenities.

We had an enormous amount of snow when we visited, so there was a lot of powder on the slopes - which may not be good for all skiers. The free shuttle bus from the nearby Tokyu hotel is very useful to visit the neighbouring resorts.
"Saiko was the best host you could hope for. We had an amazing time. The facilities had everything you needed including breakfast. I was definitely recommend staying here. "

"The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. "
