Comfortable beds, beautiful bath house offering both cold & hot pools, free ramen at night, nice pyjamas, friendly staff, delicious brunch and central location. Would go out of my way to stay here again. We stayed here before hiking Mt Fuji! Best meal of our whole trip was a Japanese Wagyu grill down the street too!"

"The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, the indoor hot springs was exactly what I wanted along with a view of the Fireworks. I gave a 4 to the convenience of shopping is you are up a hillside, but they can call you a ride and and is very easy to get. You can walk but it’s a one lane and can be scary, so I would just call a ride. Even checking out was a pleasure, your team at Resort work very hard and it was an amazing experience. "Our room, a combination of Western and Japanese styles, had a persistent odor that charcoal and air freshener only temporarily masked. The Western beds, consisting of a box spring and mattress topper, were uncomfortable and caused back pain. While the view was excellent, the food in the main dining room was mediocre; the steamed snapper, in particular, was overpoweringly sweet and salty due to an unbalanced soy sauce and sugar mixture."
