“Staff were very good about keeping in touch in order to accommodate our late arrival time. Parking was convenient and the room facilities perfect for our needs. Despite a band playing in the bar downstairs, our room was quiet. The full Welsh breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend 👍”

“Hotel in brilliant position we had everything we needed. Atrium for breakfast with views of the whole of Llanberis was stunning. Breakfast very fresh and varied. Our only complaint would be evening meal did not come up to expectations. Advertised as served with salad. A flat bread with minute bits of salad. A disappointment.. Quite pricey. The hotel and staff were great. ”

“Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.”

“The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on...

“We went to this hotel for a wind down and get away from it all. We didn't use the spa, but we didn't need to. From the moment we arrived we left everything going on back home behind bus, and have returned today totally refreshed and ready to go again!”

“What a gem! Cannot fault this b&b at all. We stayed in Room 5. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. Absolutely would stay again and will recommend.”
