Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee hotel rooms at the Scottish Inn

"I booked the property for a few reasons. One is, I saw that it was walking distances to alot of the downtown market/activities, and also because of the fireplace in the room, and the hot tub on the property. I arrived and saw that both the pool and the hot tub was closed due to maintenance. (Would’ve thought they would do maintenance on both during the off-season not the beginning of busy season) Me and my lady wanted to wine down at the end of the night with a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace but it would not stay burning. The staff was accommodating when requests were made to have technician come by. Maintenance technician came by twice to get it to work but had no luck. (Stay at hotel for three days and was not able to use the fireplace) Also, parking spaces is very tight, esp with oversize vehicles. Garage ceilings is very low, if your vehicle is higher than 6 feet you will have problems parking. I’ve been to Gatlinburg a few times, but never booked at this location, not saying/knowing if these are ongoing issues with the property however, these were a few problems I ran across. Again, the front desk staff was nice. "

"We had an amazing time for spring break being able to be at stone hill and ride the shuttle to the indoor water park is a relief from driving 4 hrs friendly staff cleanliness nice beds and rooms my son didn’t want to leave and the arcade room and it’s stuff for all ages it was so much fun highly recommend "

"Our stay at Dollywood was truly magical. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed taking a walk around the property—the scenery is just stunning and really adds to the overall experience. At night, we would turn the t.v on and were able to listen to Dolly read stories. It was pretty awesome. If I had one small complaint, it would be the pillows, which were quite uncomfortable. The first night made it a bit difficult to sleep, but by the second night we had adjusted. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this resort to others. "

"We booked this stay specifically for the water park and proximity to the national park. We were happy with the proximity to the park and the room matched description. Unfortunately room smelled like marijuana through the stay. It is is not clearly stated but the waterpark is NOT included. It would have cost our family $130. It was a small waterpark and we chose not to spend this amount of money for what was offered. We did attempt to visit the outdoor pool which was nicely heated. The pool snack shack was not open despite being told it would be open during these hours. The pool area also heavily smelled of marijuana. We ordered pizza for in room delivery our first night. Had we known it would be 90 minutes for pizza to arrive would not have done this, the kids were already asleep when it arrived. The pizza was good though. Overall we would not stay again. "
