โSupport the local businesses. A WONDERFUL Mom& Pop motor hotel that has been refurbished to meet the needs of todayโs travelers. Warm and welcoming, we were greeted and quickly checked in. Rooms are pristinely clean and have a generous amount of bathroom needs. Sundry supplies are good. Weekend offered a made to order delicious breakfast. Trolly stop to Gatlinburg downtown is directly across the street . Definitely a place I would return to. โ
โWe had a balcony directly over a river with a view of river and mountain forest. So we felt we were remote and away from the world. However, when you exited the room you were on a Main Street with a free trolley ride to down town. Or you could walk the mile to get to the center of town and the aquarium. โWe recently stayed at Marshallโs Rest Motel during our โlast vacationโ of the summer celebration. This was our 3rd time staying here. What i like best about staying here is the cute cozy rooms (which are clean & well maintained), the pool area which offers a view of the river while you swim or relax pool side & the closeness to downtown (only a 4 min walk). โThere is no cleaning the room for everyday. I should get the towel from front desk and shower gel went out. Then I thought, why I should pay every cost for the hotel stay, because the hotel didn't provide full service. They are still living in cobid 19 world.โ
