“The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed, there were food crumbs on the floor. We wanted to check in 15 minutes early and were charged 15 pounds. I felt that was a little high of a charge for 15 minutes. ”

“Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. ”

“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”

“My stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.”

“We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel...

“Nice staff, pleasant property. The room was beautifully decorated but was like a sauna & we couldn’t cool it down. The bed was super comfy and the food very good. They catered for my gluten allergy very well. ”

“The breakfast menu is good. Property has own free parking. Good localisation. Not far to Ryde Esplanade and town center. ”

“I wish I had stayed here longer, the staff, the rooms, the little garden area for my dog to enjoy, was just wonderful. It was a beautiful stay, wonderful breakfast and bar area where me and the dog just chilled with a nice glass of wine (me not the dog!) was delightful. 10/10 would recommend. The village of Stockbridge as well, its fantastic, such lovely places to eat/drink nearby too.”

“Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. ”

“The hotel, staff and food were all excellent, the only downfall is you have to pay to park there which I dont agree with if you are staying there. For that reason I will not stay there again.”
