“We have stayed at the Silver Surf multiple times a year for the last 27 years. We have always loved it and our family has countless core memories there. It has always been more than just a hotel for us. This stay changed that completely and none of our family will be back. The staff was incredibly rude at check-in, there were very few pool towels available, the vending machines did not work, and we were told we were not welcome back upon check out. “We enjoy staying at this property when we're in Cambria. The location is great, the property isn't huge and the rooms are spacious and fairly well appointed. A couple of gripes this visit: the room wasn't as clean as we're accustomed to (i.e. found little bits of paper, noticeable dust on the standing fan and some tiny ants) and the body wash in the shower was empty. “We stayed in Room 412. It had a view of the ocean. You can only open the window to hear the waves as this has no balcony. We previously stayed at this Inn about a year ago when they were fixing up the 3rd building of which was part of Room 412. Apparently, the room needs further fixing.
