“I stayed for a night before heading to Vieques. The location was excellent, and I had a real blast at the waterpark that I didn't expect. I had requested an electric kettle and a microwave, and they promptly provided them. All the staff were kind, but I wish the front desk staffs could be a bit friendlier. Besides that slight letdown, I'd love to visit again."”

“So much to say: first off there was no indication from Expedia that this hotel was located on the 4th floor of a hospital! You have to pay for parking per hour. Our room had only 3 bath towels (we had a family of 5, with room accommodating up to 6 people). When the water wouldn’t get cold to fill our water bottles we went to the fountain and it was out of service. We went to the ice machine and it wasn’t working. Went to raise the blinks when we arrived and a big metal thing landed on my hand....

They showed us a scam copy claiming that they did not did not take the money however when we check their bank statements it showed that they did. “I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. I have stayed in busy and noisy hotels all over and have never had to resort to the earplugs that were left in the nightstand. The Google Map link sent to me wouldn’t work which created...

“Great little boutique hotel, close to the La Jolla kiosk and beaches”

“Yes parking was easy although it was limited on the premises but they have a lot not too far that you can park with no problem. ”

“Rooms are ok. The bathrooms have no fan. The console for the tv was about a foot away from the wall. The music at night is very loud and can be heard from the room. Staff are friendly but little info was given at check in. Breakfast is good but it’s the same food everyday. Outdoor pool area is ok. The loungers could use a clean. Bird poop and spilled food all over them. It would be nice to have more food options for kids. ”
