“We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. ”

The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)”

“We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. “Beautiful room, tremendous view, lots of little touches, e.g. binoculars on the window ledge, dressing gown and slippers, a dram left on the window ledge, a proper bottle of milk left in the fridge, a wee bottle of irn bru, energy bars….. and the list goes on! So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did.
