"The initial room I was placed in on the third floor had a very damp and moldy smell to it. I inquired at the front desk and they moved me to another room that was on the first floor. It was much better but still had that smell of dampness. I was told that the pool being in the center of the hotel causes some rooms to have more of a damp feel and a smell. I think this matter should be addressed."

"Our stay at Spark provided everything we were looking for. It was conveniently located. All areas of the hotel were exceptionally clean. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. To top it off, the price couldn’t be beat. We will definitely be staying at the Spark again and recommend it to anyone staying in the Lansing area. "

"All of it was terrible. It ain't no 4 star. More like half of a star. I seriously don't know how they got 4 stars. The comforters were filthy and not clean. I didn't even wanna take.my clothes off or sleep in the beds. Ugh. Never again. "

"I have nothing to complain about other than the pool being out during my stay and the pull out couch being uncomfortable. The breakfast was better than most hotels and the staff was courteous. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff didn’t steal any of my belongings. "
