“A unique experience with nice friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. We had a fabulous evening dinner, preceded by drinks in the impressive drawing room in the heart of the castle. A very relaxing place to spend a couple of nights. With lovely grounds and a good variety of birdlife. (Plus the resident Peacocks!)”

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach.
