โBeautiful lobby entrance, spacious parking, and nearby eateries such as Subway, Pastry, and McDonald's within walking distance. There is a restaurant downstairs in the hotel and a club. Although I didn't go to either, I felt it was worth visiting.. โ
โCheck in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Shuttle to Stockyards was convenient and the driver was friendly. Breakfast was awesome, the had a pancake machine which we had never seen before!โ
โUnfortunately, I was asked if I โwork in the areaโ by a fella looking for some comfort. Lots of big rigs park at night, lots of ladies walking around. โ
โThe general area was a little sketchy. I wouldnโt walk to the car by myself. People live in the motel across the street. The facility itself was clean but outdated. I didnโt see roaches and there were no bedbugs so I consider that a win. It was good for the price and close for 1am check in after leaving Billy Bobsโ
โThe hotel is old and rustic however they do a good job of keeping it clean. The lobby and hallways are like you walked back in time although some of the chairs could use some reupholstery. The rooms have character and the restaurants were great. We ate in the lounge at the bar - food, service and drinks were lovely.โ
โOur stay was for a week and the large, clean rooms were very accommodating. With the well stocked kitchenette it was easy to enjoy the hotel leisurely. The breakfast was good as as well, only lacked some fruit selection on some days. Would stay there again, easy to get around to the Ft. Worth area from there.โ
โWilliam was so welcoming and did his job so well. Best hotel welcome we had our entire trip. The room had a weird smell, but was otherwise fine. โ
