"We booked two of the junior suites and had a lovely stay. Natasha at the front desk greeted us warmly and even offered us towels to dry off when we came in after a huge downpour. The taller gentlemen at the front desk was also helpful with checking in and making sure our stay was comfortable. Unfortunately one of our rooms wasn't ready at check in and was not ready until 7pm. There was a tornado warning which meant linen delivery was late but the manager kindly gave us 50 percent off our room for that first night. Both doormen were also fantastic. There was one women at the front desk who wasn't as nice and just seemed to be angry at the world. But overall excellent service at this hotel. Location was great. We were close to supermarkets and all the major monuments and museums. Trader Joe's and wholefoods are walking distances away. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Heating was a little too effective and got too hot for our liking so we just turned it off and kept it off during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to DC! "

"The staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean. We did not eat in the hotel so we can’t comment on that. The location was good. Just a few blocks from the metro. There is a secure parking garage. Overall our stay was excellent!"

"Great location, staff was the best! Room had ample space and a kitchette which we used during our 5 day stay. Had a delicious breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant, staff was great there too. There is a Dunkin Donuts a block away that’s easy to access for coffee, etc. Would definitely stay here again! "

"I stayed here for three days, and it was a terrible experience. In my first room, I found large cockroaches coming out of the AC vent. The manager told me a leak in empty mall spaces connected to the hotel had caused humidity and may have pushed the roaches to the upper floors. He promised me a refund, but I never received it. They moved me to a second room, and when I checked under the mattress, I found a strange liquid stain that looked like blood. Between the roaches and the condition of the second room, I was extremely uncomfortable. Please be careful if you stay here. Check the AC vents, under the bed, and under the mattress. Seeing roaches during the day is usually a very bad sign. I have pictures, and I am not making this up"
