“We checked in late and were given instructions to check in on our own as the front desk leaves at 5pm. However, check in was easy. The property was quiet and well maintained. Our room was clean. The downtown is nearby, so lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. Self parking available. It was a good experience overall. ”

“Amazing hotel. Great value. Excellent vintage and mid century decor. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, shower great and room spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were the highlight. Comfortable pool lounges. A great place to stay. Just note there is no reception or staff on site. No issue for me but if you expect that type of service you may be disappointed but it was no issue for us, communication by whats app was good. ”

“It was our first time staying at Descanso (my partner previously stayed at the sister property, Santiago), so outside of the pictures, we didn't know what to expect. The service is top notch. We were receiving updates via text messages, and they were timely and on point. Special shout-out to Dustin for making our arrival a breeze with updates and his amazing introduction to the property. “Conveniently located in downtown Palm Springs. The food options on property are fantastic. Close to everything. AC worked well in rooms. Pool was refreshing. Perfect amount of amenities. Staff was very nice. Check in and check out was easy”

“We booked a room with a king bed and a queen bed room, but the manager left the queen room and the second toilet locked. When I returned to the room late at night, I realized that the door was still locked and tried to get in touch. However, the hotel didn't have resident staff at night, so I stayed overnight without a second room. I sent a message to the hotel, but there was no response. I think there should be an apology or compensation from the hotel.”
