"Stayed at Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh for 7 nights in April 2026. Beautiful resort, but unfortunately the experience didn’t match the 5★ image. Service was inconsistent, staff often inattentive (especially around the pool and evening entertainment), and the food quality was disappointing. Basic touches were missing on arrival (no welcome drink, empty minibar, no robes/slippers), and we frequently had to chase for things like drinks, housekeeping, and even towels. There were some positives — customer relations were helpful, the resort itself is stunning, and a few staff (like Ahmed in the Market Hall) really stood out. The pools are great and cater to different vibes, and it was nice that they arranged a birthday cake for my child. Overall: looks like a 5★ resort, but feels more like a 4★ stay with 3★ service and food. Wouldn’t return."

"Food tastes good but repetitive. The Spa is okish but funny how disposable pant are not provided and the weirdest thing is having to wear bra. So, take your beach bra with you because I had to wear my normal bra while my body was being scrubbed. Been to spas in different countries and never experienced anything like this. The suite we were given was so dusty but cleaner sorted it out after complaining. Thanks to (cleaner ALI), he made sure our room was clean throughout our stay. Staff are nice and helpful. Good for family with children."

"Our first-floor room was lovely, with a grand view of the garden. The staff are wonderful everywhere you go, friendly and accommodating. The food is only OK. While they do have a large variety in themain dining room, it is mostly buffet style, and lack-luster. The is a lovely resort and I would probably like to stay again. However, it is getting a little older and I'm sure some of the new resorts are nicer. The price was great for all-inclusive. The Red Sea Beach was pretty amazing!"

"The resort was beautiful and well kept with lovely landscaping and modern buildings. The food was delicious in the main restaurant, so much do that we didn’t bother eating anywhere else. There was plenty of variety and they made it a point to change things up every night so it stayed interesting and appealing. The pools and amenities were wonderful and the start was excellent. We had a blast and would definitely stay here again! "

Then comes the reception staff: a miserable man who slags off guests in Arabic, confidently assuming no white person understands him. Bad luck mate — we understood every word. Rooms: Biohazard Zones The rooms should come with a health warning. • Urine-stained bed linen — repeatedly. • Floors that look like they’ve never met a broom. • A bathtub decorated with cigarette ends and burn marks, as if someone had hosted a bonfire in it. • A sewage smell from the bathroom strong enough to qualify as a chemical attack. We were moved… straight into another disaster. Dust thick enough to write “clean me” — which stayed there for five days. Bed linen so revolting we slept on our own towels like refugees escaping the plague.
