"Our stay at the Condado Vanderbilt was truly exceptional from start to finish. As someone with 30+ years in the hospitality and food and beverage industries, and as someone married to a chef, I have high expectations when it comes to service, dining, and the overall guest experience — and the Vanderbilt exceeded every one of them. Every detail was thoughtful, every need was anticipated, and we honestly had no complaints. The twice-a-day room cleaning was such a wonderful touch and made our stay feel even more luxurious and cared for. We especially want to mention Michael and Diego at the pool and beach, who made our days by the water so enjoyable. They were attentive, kind, and made us feel completely taken care of. Our dinner at 1919 was unforgettable. Eugenio, the sommelier, made the beverage pairings feel special and personal. Alexander did an amazing job explaining the food and making each course even more meaningful, and William, our head table waiter, was outstanding. Every bite of food and every beverage we had was absolutely amazing. We also had the most relaxing day at the spa. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and treated with such care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality that the entire experience felt incredibly special. The concierge team was exceptional, sending us wonderful recommendations for places to eat and drink around the city and helping arrange our rainforest outing. We also loved having access to the amenities at the two sis"

"We liked the property it’s in a great location and the staff helped us with most of our needs. A few parts of the property were not up to my expectations though. The hot tub wasn’t hot, in fact it was as cold as the pool, until the last day of our stay! The water in the room was also quite bipolar, going from burning hot to freezing without touching a thing! We also tried to dry a load of DAMP laundry and it came out wetter than when we put it in. We told the front desk and they gave us another dollar to try again, and told us we just needed more time. It ended up being in there for almost an hour and a half (small load btw). One other small detail was our door! It was so hard and loud to close, we had to pull it shut with our full strength. It also disturbed sleeping peers and neighbors :( Overall the stay was good, these minor issues wouldn’t dature me from coming here or recommending it to others- just something to keep on your radar!"

"Location was great. It’s a nice little boutique hotel with a classy feel. Food was good. Pool was nice. Beach felt like our own little private beach. Hotel staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The lower review is for a few things — all related to issues with room access. 1: the door handle for my bathroom was loose and I got locked in the bathroom of my hotel room. Maintenance did respond quickly and got me out quickly. 2) the battery for my room died and I couldn’t get access to my room. I was left waiting in the hallway for over 20 min (being told someone was coming right up in just a few minutes) and by the time I was able to get in and change, it was too late for me to gain access to the beach from the hotel. 3) the hotel was great and accommodated my late check out request for 12:30p. However, when I went back to my room just after 12, my key card no longer worked. If maintenance hadn’t been on the floor already, who knows how I would have had to wait potentially making the time right to get to the airport. 4) I was told I would be emailed my receipt but still have not received anything 8 hours later. 5) the view of the bay from my room window was beautiful. That’s the upgrade I paid for. However, with the bed on the chosen side of the wall, it left me looking at another building and completely missing the stunning view. Had the beds been on the opposite wall, I could have been waking to a beautiful bay view. Seems a waste and poor planning. "
