"It was a good experience overall but there were some inconsistencies from housekeeper. They took our bathrobes and never gave us replacements right after the first and second day of our stay. They also didnt provide trash bags for the garbages in the bathroom and kitchen except for the first time which feels strange for a 5 star hotel but overall, I am thankful for the job they did helping us clean up the room and there were no other qualms besides that. The washer dryer combo was terrible though and I do not recommend using it unless you plan on being there when it finishes because your clothes will just be a soaking wet mess after the “dry cycle.”"

"Really impressed with this hotel. It’s central - east walk to City Hall Metro stn and 15-20 min walk the Myendong and Insadong. The staff are soooo accommodating- nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are cleaned daily with towels refreshed and the fridge restocked with cold bottled water. The restaurant is also very good if you want and eat in option. We flew out in the evening and as it was the middle summer and we’d spent the day walking around town they kindly allowed us to use the shower in the pool area to refresh before we headed out to catch our flight. GREAT VALUE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😊"

"The location, property, and cleanliness were excellent. I did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on it personally, but I heard that it was very good. Some staff members were kind and professional, while others were smiling but not particularly kind, helpful or proactive. I stayed at the Lotte Hotel near City Hall two years ago and was deeply impressed by the kindness of the staff, which influenced my decision to stay at this location. Unfortunately, the level of service and hospitality here was not comparable. That said, this did not apply to every staff member, only some. I found the service at the neighboring Sofitel to be much better, although I preferred the rooms and facilities at Lotte. I also ordered in-room dining, but the food was mediocre, especially considering the high price, which was very disappointing. I do not think I would stay here again. However, for families traveling with children, this could be an excellent choice because of its convenient location, rooms, and facilities."

"The rooms were clean but smaller than what we are used to in the US. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We stayed long & each morning the chef already knew how we liked our eggs prepared. The staff were all very nice & attentive to details. The male front desk manager was very accommodating & friendly. Gave us drinks upon arrival."

"Such a great stay! Was conveniently located. The complimentary water and tea in the lobby was always stocked, and so incredibly refreshing coming back in from the heat. The free ramen at night was great, too!"
