"I love family owned restaurants and hotels as they carry a legacy and this place just ticked all the boxes. Recently renovated with an amazing bathroom, great amenities and clean space to live. Bed was super comfortable. So accessible to the public transport, with options to park if needed. The entire staff was so helpful, always there to guide us. "Just amazing. I was blown away by the great hospitality at this hotel. Also in awe of the view of the Eiger! First thing you see waking up and last thing before going to sleep. The connected restaurant is also really good. Ate there both nights of my stay. My only regret is that I didnt book this place for more days, but I guess that is just an excuse to returrn. Thanks!"

The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). "The views are incredible. I would come again & highly recommend it, however I was unaware that the hotel & entire town are not accessible by car. One must park in the valley below ( Lauterbrunnen) and take a train up to the town. Parking is about 9 Euros a calendar day (so an overnight stay costs 18 Euros) and the train which leaves every 30 min costs 7.50 Euros p/p one way. The hotel is a walk uphill from the train station, but there is a hotel shuttle (another fact we were unaware of ) that is very welcome if you have a lot of luggage."
