"Excellent Stay and Outstanding Service at Shinagawa Prince Hotel We stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel for 4 nights when we first arrived in Tokyo, then returned for 1 more night after spending 5 nights in Kyoto — and everything about our stay was fantastic. Before returning, we had arranged to leave 2 large suitcases at the hotel, and they stored them for free during our Kyoto trip, which was incredibly helpful. When we returned for our final night, there was a small issue with our reservation — our daughter was not included — but the front desk staff handled it promptly and kindly. They managed to find us a room with three beds, which made our last night in Japan very comfortable and stress-free. The location next to Shinagawa Station is ideal for getting around Tokyo and to the airport. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the overall experience made us feel well cared for. Highly recommended, especially for families. We’ll definitely stay here again!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was free, they kept a supply of free waterbottles stocked. I loved that they provided a laundry room so that guests could wash their own clothes. The room was small by American standards but this is Japan so this was to be expected."

"This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended it to friends and will definitely try to stay here again. Went in July and there was central air con (temp control in the room) in addition to a portable air con for extra coolness. Staff were lovely. Definitely get the amazing breakfast. The room was pretty big - especially for Tokyo. Comfortable, very clean (and I’m terrible with hotels - usually don’t like to touch anything in them but for the first time ever I felt comfortable). A minute walk to Shiomi station which is 4 stops to Tokyo station and 3 stops to Disneyland. "

"The room size was a little on the small side but that didn’t bother me much since everything else about this hotel made my stay wonderful. The location close to a metro station and great food choices were pluses. I really enjoyed the onsen in the basement of the hotel. Used it everyday sometimes twice a day. Super clean and large. Staff was professional and very nice. I love Japan and this hotel was perfect for our stay around Tokyo. "
